From Nature Sanctuaries to Stunning Coastlines

Upon landing in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar, you will be welcomed to the largest city in the country, which serves as the administrative, communication, and economic center.

After your arrival, you will meet our representative at the airport for a transfer to your hotel.

After some rest and refreshment, we will enjoy a city tour in Tana. We will start at Independence Avenue and visit the Cathedral of Andohalo. Next, we will head to the Royal Hill of Ambohimanga, one of the twelve sacred hills surrounding the city, which holds significant cultural and historical importance.

We will then continue to the Diego Market, where you can wander through shops selling local handicrafts and souvenirs.
Overnight in Antananarivo.

After breakfast and depending on your flight schedule, we will transfer to the airport for your flight to Diego Suarez.

Diego Suarez is a beautiful port city and the capital of the Diana region, the northernmost province of Madagascar. The city is composed of several bays and features charming colonial French architecture. It once served as a key port for the French navy in the Indian Ocean, evident in the many colonial buildings that remain.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a half-day tour of the “Three Bays.” We will drive along a sandy route of approximately 5 kilometers that leads us to the three bays renowned for their stunning natural beauty. Expect long stretches of white sandy beaches that complement the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.
In the evening, we will enjoy a breathtaking sunset before transferring to our hotel.
Overnight in Diego Suarez.

After breakfast, we will embark on a journey of approximately 1.5 hours to Amber Mountain National Park, home to a vast tropical rainforest covering a volcanic mountain range and basalt rocks. The park is rich in wildlife and endemic vegetation and is adorned with numerous water sources, including rivers, waterfalls, and volcanic lakes.

Upon arrival, we will take a guided tour of the park to appreciate the rich biodiversity of the tropical forest, including its diverse animal life, lush plant life (featuring various orchid species), and the many water sources flowing through it.

Following our exploration of Amber Mountain, we will continue our journey for about 5 hours to Ankarana Reserve, which boasts sharp limestone ridges, dense tropical jungle, caves, canyons, rushing rivers, and an abundance of wildlife. This pristine natural reserve, established in 1956, covers an extensive area of 182 square kilometers and features unique limestone formations, including stunning spiky towers. The reserve was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in September 2023.

Upon arrival, we will transfer to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will set out for a day of exploration in the Ankarana Tsingy, an area where vast expanses of limestone have eroded to create an extraordinary karst landscape. This region is not only known for its striking geological formations but also boasts unique vegetation and a rich variety of wildlife, including Madagascar’s northern lemurs.

Throughout the day, we will hike through the Tsingy formations, marveling at the impressive spires and sharp peaks that characterize this unique ecosystem. We may also have opportunities to observe various animal species that inhabit this diverse environment.
Dinner and overnight in Ankarana.

After breakfast, we will embark on a 5-hour drive to Ankify.
Along the way, we will stop to visit Ambanja, where we will explore the local plantations and learn about the various crops grown in the region, including cocoa, coffee, and vanilla, which are abundant in this part of Madagascar.

Next, we will transfer to the port for a one-hour boat ride to Nosy Be, an island located in the northwest of Madagascar and a popular resort destination. Nosy Be is renowned for its thriving essential oil industry, sandy beach strips, turquoise waters, and diverse, fragrant vegetation, including ylang-ylang, vanilla, and lemongrass.

Upon arrival, we will transfer to our hotel.

Feel free to explore the island at your own pace, relax on the beautiful beaches, or partake in various activities such as:
• Snorkeling or diving in the vibrant coral reefs
• Taking a boat trip to nearby islands, like Nosy Komba or Nosy Tanikely
• Visiting local markets for handmade crafts and souvenirs
• Indulging in a spa treatment featuring local ingredients
