A customized 10-day Thailand tour begins in Bangkok, the bustling capital known for its stunning temples, massive shopping centers, vibrant markets, diverse culinary experiences, and countless attractions. We’ll explore the city, visit the famous floating market with stalls offering tropical fruits, fish, flowers, and more, and continue to Kanchanaburi to see the iconic “Bridge over the River Kwai.” Next, we head to Chiang Mai, the largest city in northern Thailand, where we’ll explore temples, markets, Doi Inthanon National Park, and the unique Sticky Waterfall, as well as enjoy an exciting ziplining experience. To conclude, we’ll relax on the beautiful island of Koh Samui, Thailand’s second-largest island. Day 1

Day 1: Arrival - Bangkok

Arrival in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand! Bangkok is often referred to as the “Capital of the Far East.” It is a vast, bustling, and fascinating city that serves as an entry point for many travelers to the East or as the final touch after a luxurious holiday in Thailand. In Bangkok, you can find stunning temples, enormous shopping malls, numerous markets, diverse culinary experiences, and many attractions throughout the city that connect the East and the West.

 

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 2

Day 2: Bangkok - City Tour

After breakfast, we will embark on a city tour. We will drive through the interesting parts of the city, including a stop at the Golden Buddha Temple and the Reclining Buddha Temple.

 

Next, we will visit the Grand Palace, the residence of the Kings of Siam, where we will explore the stunning buildings, the funeral hall, the reception halls, the coronation pavilion, guesthouses, and more.

 

Afterward, we will take a long wooden boat ride through the city’s canals, where you can observe life along the waterways. We will then visit Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn.
Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 3

Day 3: Bangkok - Floating Market - Kanchanaburi - Bangkok

After breakfast, we will drive approximately an hour and a half (100 km) to Ratchaburi Province, where we will visit the floating market in the town of Damnoen Saduak. Upon arrival, we will take a boat ride through the coconut groves, banana plantations, and floating lotuses, experiencing the lifestyle of the locals along the canals and the colorful market with its array of tropical fruits, fish, flowers, and more.
Afterward, we will continue our drive for about an hour and a half to the city of Kanchanaburi, located on the banks of the Kwai River, where we will see the famous bridge over the River Kwai, built during World War II by Allied prisoners of war.

 

From there, we will take a short boat ride to visit the JEATH War Museum. The museum is designed to resemble a POW camp and depicts the daily lives of the tens of thousands of prisoners who lost their lives in the area during that dark period.

 

At the end of our visit, we will drive approximately three hours back to Bangkok.

Day 4

Day 4: Bangkok - Chiang Mai - City Tour - Doi Suthep

After breakfast and according to your flight time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai, the largest and most important city in Northern Thailand. This charming city is known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning temples, as well as its picturesque mountain landscapes.

 

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

After refreshing, we will embark on a city tour. We will visit Wat Pra Singh Temple, Wat Wedi Luang Temple, and the Warorot Market.
Next, we will head to Doi Suthep Temple, the most important temple in Northern Thailand. To reach the temple, we will climb to the gold-covered stupa, which rises above the city at an elevation of 1,100 meters.
Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 5

Day 5: Chiang Mai - Doi Inthanon

After breakfast, we will head to Doi Inthanon National Park, which includes Thailand’s highest mountain at 2,565 meters above sea level. We will tour the park and enjoy the diverse birdlife, beautiful waterfalls, and impressive views. During our walk in the reserve, we will take in the scenery of rice fields and visit two magnificent pagodas built in honor of the King and Queen of Thailand (approximately 2.5 hours of hiking). Next to the pagodas, there are stunning gardens. Afterward, we will visit the Karen hill tribe and the twin pagoda.

 

We will then proceed to Wachiratharn Waterfall and visit the local hill tribe market.

 

Afterward, we will drive back to the hotel.
Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 6

Day 6: Chiang Mai - Ziplining - Bua Tong Waterfall

After breakfast, we will drive approximately an hour and a half to the village of Maetonluang, where we will enjoy a visit to King Kong Smile Park, home to the longest and highest ziplines in Asia. Throughout the day, we will experience ziplining and walking on rope bridges.

 

Next, we will continue to Bua Tong Waterfall. This waterfall, at a height of 80 meters, is known for its unique phenomenon of limestone rocks covered with a special mineral that creates a rough surface, allowing your feet to “stick” to it, making it non-slip. The flowing water on the slope, combined with the waterfall’s unique texture, enables easy climbing, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, small clear pools, and many butterflies.
Afterward, we will drive back to the hotel.
Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 7

Day 7: Chiang Mai - Koh Samui

After breakfast and according to your flight time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Koh Samui.
This vibrant island, located in southeastern Thailand, is rich in natural tropical jungles, crystal-clear turquoise waters, white sandy beaches adorned with coconut trees, and a wide range of hotels for every budget. Koh Samui, the second-largest island in Thailand, invites you to indulge in a pampering experience filled with exotic flavors, offering a variety of options: relaxing retreats, luxurious spa treatments, or lively nightlife in central areas, as well as hiking and unique temples or exciting water activities like snorkeling, diving, and boating in motorboats or kayaks.

 

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
The rest of the day is free.
Overnight in Koh Samui.
