A customized 27-day tour of Australia begins in Sydney, Australia’s largest city, where we’ll explore iconic sites and venture to the enchanting Blue Mountains in New South Wales. From Port Stephens, enjoy a dolphin-watching cruise before flying to Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory. We’ll explore Kakadu National Park, Litchfield National Park, and Arnhem Land. Continuing to Cairns, experience the charm of Daintree Village, a cruise and snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef, and a scenic railway ride to Kuranda village, nestled in the heart of a rainforest.
Picking up a rental car, we journey to the relaxed coastal town of Townsville, then to Airlie Beach for a cruise to the Whitsunday Islands, perfect for unwinding. Further along, we explore Rockhampton, then Fraser Island—a world-renowned natural gem. We relax in Surfers Paradise before flying to Melbourne, where we’ll drive along the Great Ocean Road and enjoy a private tour on Phillip Island, including the famed penguin parade.

Day 1: Arrival - Sydney
Welcome to Sydney, the capital of New South Wales and the largest city in Australia. Sydney is a beautiful and vibrant city, rich in attractions, parks, stunning beaches, and excellent restaurants. It’s often mistakenly thought of as the capital of Australia instead of Canberra.
Upon arrival, you will meet our representative at the airport for a private transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Sydney - City Tour
After breakfast, we will embark on a private city tour of this amazing city. This tour will combine walking and travel in an air-conditioned vehicle.
We will visit must-see landmarks such as Circular Quay, where you can take in sights that you’ve only seen on postcards—the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, and the observation tower. Afterward, we will continue to explore the northern beaches of Sydney.

Day 3: Sydney - Blue Mountains Tour
After breakfast, we will embark on a private day trip to one of the enchanting sites in New South Wales—the Blue Mountains. This mountain range features tableland and canyons, with the characteristic blue hue resulting from sunlight scattering through the dust and eucalyptus oil in the air. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Enjoy off-road tours, canyon descents, and encounters with local wildlife throughout the day.
At the end of the tour, we will transfer back to the hotel in Sydney.

Day 4: Sydney - Port Stephens and Dolphin Watching
After breakfast, we will embark on a private experiential day tour to Port Stephens. We will leave Sydney via the famous Harbour Bridge, enjoying breathtaking views along the way.
Once we arrive, we will hop onto off-road vehicles to explore the dunes leading to the beach.
Lunch will be enjoyed in Port Stephens, followed by the highlight of the visit—a dolphin-watching cruise. This is the best way to see wild dolphins in their natural habitat. If the weather permits and the water temperature is warm enough, there may be an opportunity to swim alongside these charming and playful creatures.
After our exciting day, we will drive back to Sydney and transfer to the hotel.

Day 5: Sydney - Darwin
After breakfast and depending on your flight schedule, we will have a private transfer to the airport for your flight to Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory, known for its proximity to stunning national parks, particularly Kakadu National Park.
Upon arrival in Darwin, you will be transferred privately to your hotel.

Day 6: Darwin - Kakadu National Park
After breakfast, we will embark on a private day tour to one of Australia’s most beautiful reserves, Kakadu National Park. This park features a stunning combination of mangroves, expansive plains, and tropical forests, where we will witness the unique wildlife native to this region.
Upon arrival, we will take a cruise on the river, providing us with a close view of saltwater crocodiles and a variety of colorful bird species. Additionally, we will experience a taste of Aboriginal culture, exploring their art, medicinal plants, and traditional living spaces.
After our adventure, we will drive back to Darwin for your hotel transfer.

Day 7: Darwin - Litchfield National Park
After breakfast, we will depart on a private, air-conditioned 4WD vehicle towards Litchfield National Park. Our first stop will be at the impressive Wangi Falls, where we can enjoy the stunning scenery. We will also visit the Tolmer Gorge and explore various pools and springs in the reserve. Depending on the weather conditions and crocodile safety, we may take a refreshing swim.
As we continue our tour of the park, we will observe the unique wildlife and marvel at the enormous termite mounds, some reaching heights of up to 5 meters!
After our adventure, we will drive back to Darwin for your hotel transfer.

Day 8: Darwin - Arnhem Land
After breakfast, we will embark on a private day tour to Arnhem Land, a vast area of 97,000 square kilometers located approximately 200 kilometers east of Darwin. This region is named after the Dutch ship Arnhem, which explored the area in 1623.
Throughout the day, we will explore the region and meet Indigenous Aboriginal people in their authentic living environment. This encounter will provide a unique insight into their culture, traditions, and connection to the land.
At the end of our visit, we will return to Darwin for your hotel transfer.

Day 9: Darwin - Cairns
After breakfast, you will have a private transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairns, one of the most popular cities in Australia.
Cairns serves as a gateway to some of the most breathtaking natural attractions, including the Great Barrier Reef on one side and lush rainforests on the other.
Upon arrival, you will meet our representative at the airport and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel.

Day 10: Cairns - Daintree and Cape Tribulation
After breakfast, we will embark on a private tour of Daintree, a charming village on the banks of the Daintree River. After a delightful morning tea and informative explanations, we’ll enjoy a river cruise on the Daintree River, surrounded by mangroves and endemic wildlife, experiencing nature at its finest.
Next, we will head to a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking a coastline where tropical rainforests meet turquoise waters—undoubtedly one of the most stunning sights you will encounter during your trip. From there, we will visit Lync Haven, a wildlife sanctuary where you’ll have the opportunity to feed the animals by hand.
We will continue towards Cape Tribulation, stopping at a hidden freshwater creek away from the crowds for a refreshing swim (it’s advisable to bring your swimsuit and towel). Upon arriving at Cape Tribulation, you will find a unique ecosystem where coral reefs meet ancient rainforests, home to distinctive flora and fauna.
Once there, enjoy a relaxing swim in the coral sea or take a leisurely stroll along the beach.
At the end of the day, we will cross the Daintree by cable car and make our way back to Cairns.

Day 11: Cairns - Great Barrier Reef Cruise
After breakfast, we will head out for a shared cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, where you can enjoy snorkeling in one of the world’s most magnificent locations (it’s recommended to bring swimwear and a towel).
The reef is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered one of the greatest natural wonders and tourist attractions in Australia. Stretching over 2,000 kilometers along the coastline, it is composed of countless coral formations, mangrove forests, seagrasses, sandy islands, colorful fish, mollusks, starfish, turtles, dolphins, and even sharks.
At the end of the day, we will have a shared transfer back to the hotel in Cairns.

Day 12: Cairns - Kuranda Adventure
After breakfast, we will embark on a private day filled with adventures on a scenic railway that will take you deep into the rainforest, crossing bridges, passing through tunnels, and alongside rushing waterfalls.
We will make a stop to explore Kuranda, a picturesque village nestled in the heart of the rainforest. From there, we will continue with a combination of walking, driving, and boating. Our journey will take us to the Pamagirri cultural experience, where we will learn about the Indigenous Aboriginal people, enjoy a boomerang throwing demonstration, spear throwing, and traditional music with the didgeridoo.
After lunch at the location, we will visit the Koala Park, where we can observe other native animals such as kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, crocodiles, iguanas, and more. We will continue our adventure with a cable car ride, experiencing the rainforest from the treetops, stopping at the stunning Barron Falls and exploring the treetop pathways.
At the end of this exciting day, we will return to Cairns.

Day 13: Cairns - Townsville
After breakfast, pick up your rental car and drive for approximately 4 hours along a beautiful coastal stretch towards Townsville.
Townsville is the second largest city in Queensland, a relaxed coastal city that serves as the gateway to Australia’s tropical north. In the city center stands a massive pink granite monolith known as Castle Hill, which serves as a lookout point offering stunning views of the city and the surrounding Cleveland Bay. The city is also home to the Reef HQ Aquarium, a leading center for research on the Great Barrier Reef, showcasing the world of sharks, rays, and sea turtles in conditions that closely resemble their life in the open ocean.
The rest of the day is free for you to explore at your leisure.

Day 14: Townsville - Airlie Beach
After breakfast, drive for approximately 3.5 hours to Airlie Beach, a small coastal town that is one of the northernmost towns in Queensland. The town is primarily known as the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. The lagoon at Airlie Beach is a popular destination for those seeking relaxation.
In the town, especially along the esplanade, you will find an abundance of restaurants and nightlife options, as well as various clubs offering diving lessons.
The rest of the day is free for you to explore at your leisure.

Day 15: Airlie Beach - Whitsunday Islands
After breakfast, we will have a private transfer to the dock to embark on a shared cruise to the stunning Whitsunday Islands, a chain of 74 beautiful islands that are part of the Great Barrier Reef. Most of the islands in this chain are designated as national parks. While some islands feature resorts, the majority are uninhabited.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your resort.

Day 16: Whitsunday Islands - Free Day
Enjoy a free day on the islands with breakfast included. Take the opportunity to relax on the stunning beaches, explore the beautiful surroundings, or engage in various water activities such as snorkeling, diving, or kayaking.

Day 18: Whitsunday Islands - Airlie Beach - Rockhampton
After breakfast, we will take a shared cruise back to Airlie Beach. Upon arrival, we will pick up our rental car and drive approximately 5.5 hours to Rockhampton.
Rockhampton, founded in 1853, is located in central Queensland and is known as the “Beef Capital” of Australia. The city boasts beautiful architecture, historic streets, royal cathedrals, impressive botanical gardens, and the Dreamtime Cultural Centre, which offers insights into Aboriginal culture and history.

Day 19: Rockhampton - Hervey Bay - Fraser Island
After breakfast, we will drive approximately 4 hours to Hervey Bay. From there, we will embark on a shared cruise (including our rental car) to Fraser Island, one of the most beautiful natural wonders in the world.
Fraser Island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest sand island globally, renowned for its ecological marvels. It features rich vegetation, rainforests, and turquoise freshwater lakes, making it a must-visit destination for nature lovers.

Day 20: Fraser Island
After breakfast, we will set off for a day of independent exploration using your rental car around the island.
We will visit the famous Lake McKenzie, known for its crystal-clear waters, and then continue to Wanggoolba River and Pile Valley. We’ll drive along the 75 Mile Beach, stop at the wreck of the Maheno ship, and enjoy a swim in Eli Creek. Afterward, we will continue our visits to other attractions on the island.

Day 21: Fraser Island - Surfers Paradise
After breakfast, we will take a shared boat back to Harvey Bay, followed by a drive of approximately 4 hours with your rental car to Surfers Paradise.
Surfers Paradise is a resort town and a suburb of the Gold Coast, popular among both Australians and tourists. The city has a rich surfing heritage, with locals well-versed in where the best waves break and many opportunities to learn how to surf. At the Q1 building, you’ll find an observation deck offering panoramic views of the ocean and the city. Along the beach of Surfers Paradise, there are numerous water parks and amusement parks, including Warner Bros. Movie World and a large theme park from DreamWorks.

Day 22: Surfers Paradise - Free Day
Enjoy a free day in Surfers Paradise on a bed and breakfast basis.
Explore the beautiful beaches, take part in various water sports, or relax by the ocean. You can also visit local attractions such as the Q1 SkyPoint Observation Deck for stunning views or enjoy shopping and dining at the vibrant Cavill Avenue.

Day 24: Surfers Paradise - Melbourne
After breakfast, depending on your flight time, you will drive to Gold Coast Airport to return your rental car and catch your flight to Melbourne, the capital of Victoria and the second-largest city in Australia. Melbourne is a vibrant city that offers enjoyable daytime explorations as well as a lively nightlife scene filled with excellent restaurants, performances, and sporting events.
Upon arrival, you will have a private transfer to your hotel.

Day 25: Melbourne - Great Ocean Road
After breakfast, we will embark on a private tour of the Great Ocean Road, renowned as the most scenic drive in Australia. This rugged coastline offers breathtaking views and vibrant colors. We will travel along the route to see the Twelve Apostles, which are towering limestone stacks rising dramatically from the ocean.
Our journey will also include a visit to the Split Point Lighthouse, an important heritage site and a fantastic vantage point. We’ll pass by the London Bridge and other notable landmarks along the way. At the end of the day, we will return to Melbourne.

Day 26: Melbourne - Phillip Island
After breakfast, we will embark on a magical private tour of Phillip Island. Our journey begins with a drive through the affluent suburbs of Melbourne, with our first stop at Maru Park, where we’ll have the chance to get up close and personal with koalas, kangaroos, and the Tasmanian devil.
Continuing our scenic drive, we will cross the bridge that connects the mainland to Phillip Island and be treated to views of Australia’s largest colony of seals.
Our next destination is the Penguin Parade, where, as if by magic, hundreds of little penguins return from a day of fishing to their burrows at sunset. Watching these adorable creatures waddle along the sand in a charming procession is an experience not to be missed! Dinner is included.
After this delightful day, we will return to Melbourne.
