Day 1

Day 1: Arrival - Delhi - New and Old Delhi

Arrival in Delhi, where we will meet our representative at the airport and transfer to the hotel for some rest and refreshment.

Delhi, the capital of India, serves as the gateway for most travelers to the country, offering a vibrant mix of culture, attractions, shopping, and delicious food. It’s where visitors first encounter India and begin to fall in love with its rich tapestry.
After resting, we will embark on a city tour that includes both Old and New Delhi.

We will start with a visit to Old Delhi, where we will see the Red Fort and then take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk
, the main street of Old Delhi filled with markets, street performances, and quaint shops. Our next stop will be Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.

Continuing to New Delhi, we will explore the historical developments of the city. Highlights include Qutub Minar, a towering minaret made of red sandstone. We will also view colonial-era buildings from the 1930s, including the Presidential Residence and the Parliament House. Our journey will take us to Humayun’s Tomb, a beautiful red sandstone structure set within lush gardens, commissioned in 1564 by Humayun’s widow. Finally, we will end our tour at Main Bazaar, a lively area popular with backpackers, featuring guesthouses, cafés, and restaurants.

Day 2

Day 2: Delhi – Agra – Agra Fort – Taj Mahal

After breakfast, we will embark on a journey of approximately four hours to Agra.

Upon arrival, we will begin our exploration with a visit to Agra Fort, known as the Red Fort, constructed from red sandstone. The fort’s construction was initiated by Emperor Akbar as a military structure, and later expanded by his grandson, Shah Jahan, who transformed it into a palace. In his later years, Shah Jahan was imprisoned within the fort following a coup, and it is said he spent the rest of his life gazing at the Taj Mahal—the mausoleum he built for his beloved wife—from his prison cell. The fort is not just a military structure but a vast complex that once housed an entire city within its formidable walls.

In the afternoon, as the sun sets, we will visit the Taj Mahal, renowned as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This breathtaking monument, a symbol of love and an architectural masterpiece, was also commissioned by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife.

Day 3

Day 3: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur

After breakfast, we will embark on a five-hour drive to Jaipur.

On the way, we will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city built by Emperor Akbar, showcasing a variety of architectural styles. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was once the capital of the Mughal Empire and features stunning structures like the Buland Darwaza and the Tomb of Salim Chishti.

Continuing our journey, we will arrive in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Known as the “Pink City,” Jaipur earned its name from the distinctive pinkish-brown hue of its historic buildings and walls. The color pink symbolizes hospitality in Rajput tradition, and it is said that the Rajputs painted the entire city in preparation for the visit of Alfred, the Prince of Wales, in 1853. This tradition of hospitality and the city’s pink facade continue to this day.
In the evening, we will enjoy a Bollywood movie at the famous Raj Mandir cinema, known for its opulent décor and large screen.

Day 4

Day 4: Jaipur - The Pink City

After breakfast, we will visit the stunning Amber Fort, renowned for its architectural splendor. We will ascend to the fort via jeep, enjoying the views along the way. Amber Fort, which overlooks the desert routes, served as the royal residence before the maharajas moved to the city. It exemplifies Rajasthani artistry, combining Hindu and Muslim elements.

Following our visit to the fort, we will embark on a tour of the “Pink City.” We will explore the City Palace, the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), and the Jantar Mantar observatory, built in 1728, which still amazes with the accuracy of its astronomical instruments.

We will then enjoy a rickshaw ride through the vibrant and colorful markets of Jaipur, immersing ourselves in the local culture.

Day 5: Jaipur - Pushkar - City Tour

After breakfast, we will embark on a three-hour drive to Pushkar, situated at the edge of the desert. This serene town, known for its sacred lake and temples, offers a respite from the hustle and bustle of India. Pushkar is an important Hindu pilgrimage site, renowned for its annual Camel Fair held every November, attracting pilgrims from across India and tourists worldwide.

Upon arrival, we will transfer to our hotel.

According to Hindu beliefs, Pushkar is one of the five holiest places, evidenced by over 300 temples and places of worship dedicated to various faiths. Hindus believe that a pilgrimage to Pushkar is a mandatory act that should be fulfilled at least once in a lifetime. The lake’s name translates to “the place whose sanctity surpasses that of all others,” highlighting its revered status. It is believed that bathing in the ghats (bathing spots) of the lake can cure both physical and mental ailments. Pushkar is home to the famous Brahma Temple, dedicated to the creator god.

After some time to relax, we will visit the Brahma Temple and continue our exploration around the sacred lake in Pushkar, witnessing a Pooja ceremony at one of the ghats. We will then enjoy a stroll through the vibrant local markets.
