A customized 12-day Thailand tour begins in Bangkok, Thailand’s bustling capital, known for its magnificent temples, sprawling shopping centers, vibrant markets, diverse culinary experiences, and numerous attractions. We’ll explore the city, visit the famous floating market with stalls selling tropical fruits, fish, flowers, and more, as well as the unique train market and enjoy a boat ride through the mangroves in Amphawa. Our journey continues to Kanchanaburi to see the famous “Bridge over the River Kwai,” explore the Erawan Waterfalls with their turquoise pools, and then fly to Phuket, Thailand’s largest island, where we’ll enjoy a cruise in Phang Nga Bay and some beach relaxation. To finish, we’ll unwind in Koh Phi Phi, a small paradise of seven stunning islands in the Andaman Sea. Day 1

Day 1: Arrival - Bangkok

Arrival in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand! Bangkok is often referred to as the “Capital of the Far East.” It is a vast, bustling, and fascinating city that serves as an entry point for many travelers to the East or as the final touch after a luxurious holiday in Thailand. In Bangkok, you can find stunning temples, enormous shopping malls, numerous markets, diverse culinary experiences, and many attractions throughout the city that connect the East and the West.

 

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Bangkok.

 

Day 2

Day 2: Bangkok - City Tour

After breakfast, we will embark on a city tour. We will drive through the interesting parts of the city, including a stop at the Golden Buddha Temple and the Reclining Buddha Temple.

 

Next, we will visit the Grand Palace, the residence of the Kings of Siam, where we will explore the stunning buildings, the funeral hall, the reception halls, the coronation pavilion, guesthouses, and more.

 

Afterward, we will take a long wooden boat ride through the city’s canals, where you can observe life along the waterways. We will then visit Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn.
Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 3

Day 3: Bangkok - Floating Market - Amphawa - Kanchanaburi

After breakfast, we will drive approximately an hour and a half towards Nakhon Pathom to reach Damnoen Saduak, the largest floating market in Thailand. Upon arrival, we will take a ride on long-tail boats directly to the market stalls, where we will experience the unique ambiance while walking between the “islands” that make up the most famous market in the country.

 

Next, we will head to the Amphawa area in Samut Songkhram Province. Upon arrival, we will visit the 400-year-old Wat Bang Kung Temple. After that, we will proceed to the famous railway market, known as the “Dangerous Market” because it is located on the train tracks, and the vendors fold their goods at any time the train approaches. This charming spectacle occurs eight times a day, in accordance with the train schedule, and is a delightful attraction for tourists.

 

We will then continue to Klong Kone, where we will embark on an exciting boat ride through the mangroves and meet the unique swimming monkeys that inhabit the area. We will also have the opportunity to feed them bananas to encourage them to come closer.

 

Afterward, we will drive approximately an hour and a half to Kanchanaburi, known for its rich history and stunning natural landscapes, including the famous Bridge over the River Kwai.

Day 4

Day 4: Kanchanaburi - Erawan Falls - Sri Nakarin

After breakfast, we will embark on a special visit to the bridge, including a boat ride on the river to visit the JEATH War Museum. The museum is designed to resemble a POW camp and depicts the daily lives of the tens of thousands of prisoners who lost their lives in the area during that dark period.

 

Next, we will visit Erawan National Park, home to the famous Erawan Falls (the Seven Falls). The park is rich in flora and fauna, offering beautiful turquoise pools. Afterward, we will proceed to visit the Huay Mae Kamin Waterfalls, the main attraction in Sri Nakarin National Park.

 

Afterward, we will transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Kanchanaburi.

Day 5

Day 5: Kanchanaburi - Bangkok - Free Day

After breakfast, we will drive approximately 3 hours to Bangkok.
Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free.
Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 6

Day 6: Bangkok - Phuket

After breakfast and according to your flight time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Phuket, the largest island in Thailand located in the Andaman Sea, on the southwestern side of the country. In Phuket, you will find crystal-clear turquoise waters, dramatic cliffs, beautiful white sandy beaches, coconut trees, rich coral reefs teeming with marine life, a vibrant culture, local markets, and a variety of experiences between lively beach stretches, with numerous water activities as well as secluded coves for those seeking tranquility.

 

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
The rest of the day is free.
Overnight in Phuket.

Day 7

Day 7: Phuket - Phang Nga Bay

After breakfast, we will embark on a shared day tour in Phang Nga Bay. Throughout the day, we will visit Koh Panak Cave, cruise to Koh Hong Island, and continue sailing to Koh Tapu and Pinggan Island. We will also stop at Tapu Island, famously known as “James Bond Island,” where the movie “The Man with the Golden Gun” was filmed. Lunch will be served on board. At the end of the tour, we will return by boat to Phuket and transfer to the hotel.

Day 8

Day 8: Phuket - Free Day

A free day in Phuket on a breakfast basis.

 

Day 9

Day 9: Phuket - Koh Phi Phi

After breakfast, we will embark on a shared boat ride to Koh Phi Phi. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free.

 

Koh Phi Phi is a small paradise consisting of seven stunning islands in the Andaman Sea. You will find natural lagoons, breathtaking viewpoints, soaring cliffs, and dramatic karst landscapes, along with picturesque beaches featuring emerald waters where you can enjoy snorkeling or diving to explore the underwater world. You can also indulge in kayaking in the coves, take leisurely walks along beautiful beaches, and enjoy a wide range of restaurants and cafes, as well as pampering Thai massages, and much more. The island gained fame as a popular tourist destination, particularly due to the film “The Beach,” which was shot here in 2000, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Day 12: Koh Phi Phi - Phuket - Airport
