Afterward, we will continue to visit the breathtaking Montebello Lakes National Park.
Following our visit, we will drive back to San Cristóbal.

The site was constructed between the 8th and 11th centuries, and the Maya inhabited and thrived here until the mid-16th century. At the heart of the site are several pyramids, each approximately forty meters tall, accompanied by temples, ceremonial sites, and large buildings. Most of the structures at Uxmal have been remarkably well-preserved, and during our visit, it feels as if the inhabitants left just recently, leaving the site exactly as it was when they lived here. Lunch is included.
After our exploration, we will continue with a one-hour drive to Mérida, a vibrant and beautiful city in the heart of the Yucatán Peninsula.
Upon arrival, we will transfer to our hotel.
Overnight in Mérida.

Today, it serves as an archaeological site, having been built as a city by the Maya. We will visit the Great Pyramid, “El Castillo,” which was constructed by the Maya as a temple to the god Kukulkan, whose physical embodiment for the Maya is a feathered serpent, which is why you can see numerous snake depictions on the temples.
